Puesto:
The IT Support Technician (ITST) supports the technology needs of the end users within the company. This includes deploying and maintaining all hardware, software, and applications that the end users interacts with as well as troubleshooting all issues reported by the end users, clients, or customers, and then, determine if they can resolve the issue or, if necessary, escalate the issue to the appropriate group within IT. The ITST will also be required to participate in IT projects and initiatives based on business needs.

Requerimos
University studies (Bachelor’s degree preferably) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related computer field, or 2-4 years of desktop support experience in an IT support/operations environment. Strong IT troubleshooting skills (Hardware/Software and Networking). Strong PC skills (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance). Strong knowledge on Avaya telephony environment (concept and applications). Strong experience using Windows XPE, XP, 2000, server. Bilingual 100% English-Spanish (written and spoken). Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Faster adaptation to technology changes. Be able to participate in our 24X7 rotation schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays). Owned car. Technology Certification (A+, Network+, Server+, MCP, CCNA, etc) is desirable. Knowledge of Linux/UNIX is desirable. Knowledge of Virtualization technologies under windows and Linux. Technology monitoring skills is desirable.
